Vintage Cameras

While I mainly shoot with my Canon 6d DLSR. I do like to switch it up now and then with one of my vintage cameras. Each one has its own unique feel and quirks about it. I equate taking them out like taking a classic car out. Film in itself is a different experience altogether. There are no redos. There is no way to tell what the image looks like when you get home. How to get the images off the camera is a completely different process. Everything is a lot more slowed down. I like that though and it gives me a break once and a while.

1970s Canon TL 35mm SLR

I’ve only used this a few times. I plan on taking it out a lot more. Analog is a nice change from everything digital. I also like the way it feels in my hands. Solid metal and the grip is nice.

1952 ZEISS IKON IKOFLEX 120mm TLR

Out of these 2 this one has got to be my favorite. I’ve shot a few rolls with this. The camera is fully manual. You look down from the top to view the image and load film from the back. It even has a flash sync. pretty awesome. Its also the only medium format camera I own.
